I've worked on a variety web design projects ranging from enhancements, improvements and additions to existing websites, all the way to bespoke design and development from the ground up. My clients include small business owners, medium organisations... and large multi-national companies.
I have extensive experience in designing and building sites using a range of content management systems such as Joomla, MODx, Magento, Wordpress and Drupal. I specialise in front-end development that enhances the user experience and builds on these powerfull platforms to provide robust website designe.

Designed in collaboration with 70volts Graphic Design
This site provides a fully featured e-commerce solution for a new UK online based online retailer of imported designer furniture. It has been designed to showcase all the ranges of the Italian made boys and girls furniture sets. Images, diagrams and downloadable brochures are available and shoppers will are able to choose the finishes of their furniture and add additional items to each packaged range.
The site is built around the award winning Magento CMS which allows site administrators to add or modify the products, track stock, orders and payments. All transactions will initially be accepted via Paypal.

This multimedia corporate site was designed and developed for a top ten UK architectural practice. Built around a modified Joomla CMS with fully integrated media manager and investor relations tools - the frontend is fully standards compliant, cross browser compatible.
The aesthetic concept was developed in collaboration with a re-branding consultancy, whilst the backend was completely re-designed, upgraded and re-launched with specialised enhancements to admin access control and security. The site was optimised for search engines, which have yielded excellent results for all targeted keywords.
The website continues to receive an average of 22,000 hits per month and is ranked highly on all major search engines. At present the site is maintained by internal marketing and HR teams who continue to rate the functionality and effectiveness of the site exceptionally highly.
This site, built for Loughborough MP Nicky Morgan, serves as a platform for delivering local news and campaign updates. It also displays content from a variety of external sources including Twitter, the governments national website, Google Maps and YouTube.
It is designed to be clear and accessible, is fully web standards compliant and cross browser compatible. The site is built around a fully-featured content management system with integrated mailer functions for subscriber newsletters.

This site provides a personal online presence for a Yoga and Pilates instructor and describes the various training services on offer. It is designed in Flash with and Php back-end, the intention was to deliver a simple but elegant solution.
Born and raised in Scotland, I graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Architecture in 2005 and have been working in the industry ever since.
The freelance digital projects I undertake include web design, animation, 3D modelling, visualisation and interactive media.
